In the CDA Foundation’s 25th year of advancing oral health across California, the nonprofit’s programs and resources continue to create meaningful community connections, strengthen dental teams and create lasting impact. These programs have evolved in reach and relevance to the health landscape to encompass direct care, education, practice staffing, wellness and diverse oral health equity initiatives. Ways to support the Foundation have evolved as well.
The Friends of the Foundation donor program has relaunched to bring together even more supporters and recognize generosity at every level. These new ways to give include tax-deductible one-time and recurring individual and corporate donations and sponsorship opportunities.
Friends of the Foundation can become a donor at a level that aligns with their giving ability and philanthropy goals. All Friends receive quarterly newsletters sharing the Foundation’s news, events and impacts.
- Smile Supporters donate $5-$99 per month.
- Advocate Supporters donate $100-$999 per month.
- Hero Supporters donate $1,000 or more per month and receive website recognition and donor spotlights in newsletters.
Here is how engaged supporters make a difference for individuals who need Foundation services the most:
- A $5 donation provides a dental kit (toothbrush, toothpaste, floss and educational materials) to someone in need.
- $100 per month sustains meaningful programs such as dentistry-centered C.E. courses and the volunteer-led Wellness Program, which provides confidential peer-to-peer support for dentists and office staff facing burnout, mental health, or substance use disorder challenges.
- $1,500 per year helps to fund CDA Cares Connects dental clinics that match community members in underserved areas with ongoing dental care at no cost.
