2025 Event FAQs
CDA’s convention returns to Anaheim May 14-16, 2026. We’ve transitioned to one large-scale convention in Southern California each year with new smaller events added across the state.
In addition to in-person courses at CDA Presents, courses are available online for your convenience. Online course offerings range from C.E. eligible (Core and 20%) to skill-building focused topics.
The California required courses for license renewal are the California Dental Practice Act, Infection Control and Responsibilities and Requirements for Prescribing Controlled Substances. We offer all three in person and on-demand.
Sign into your account at My Account on cda.org for in person C.E. courses you’ve earned through CDA
- Sign in or follow the prompts to create your account
- Choose C.E./Transcripts from the left-hand menu
- Search or filter your results
- Download or print your records or submit a C.E. Request Form for assistance.
For online courses, log back into online learning
- Select the main menu option and click “May Activities & Certifications”
- On the next screen select courses and then the specific course
- Once the course opens, you will see an option to download the transcript through a certificate icon on the right side of the screen if the courses is complete.

Community dental clinic, result of partnership, opens in South Lake Tahoe to address high need
In October 2025, three organizations partnered to open the South Lake Tahoe Dental Clinic of EDCHC — the first of its kind in this area.
CDA is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry.
CDA designates each activity for a specified number of C.E. units. These courses meet the Dental Board of California requirements for continuing education units.
