The CDA Foundation works in partnership with Henry Schein Cares to support nonprofit organizations across California that provide dental care to underserved individuals and communities. Through the Dental Materials and Supplies Grant, selected organizations can receive a $5,000 bundle of in-kind goods to assist with dental operations.

In 2025, the Foundation and Henry Schein Cares awarded materials and supplies to the following 10 organizations:

  • Apla Health and Wellness
  • Children’s Dental Foundation
  • Chinatown Service Center
  • Community Medical Centers
  • Elica Health Centers
  • Hurtt Family Health Clinic
  • Los Angeles Christian Health Centers
  • Slo Noor Foundation

2026 grant eligibility and guidelines

The 2026 grant application cycle opened Aug. 1 and will close Monday, August 31, at 11:59 p.m. To be eligible, organizations must be classified by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

When selecting grant recipients, the Foundation will consider how community-based organizations provide programs to underserved and diverse patient populations and demonstrate relevance to the Foundation’s mission. The Foundation also considers the impact of organizations that provide care in designated Dental Health Care Professional Shortage Areas.

Eligible organizations can apply online for Dental Materials and Supplies Grant after reviewing the complete guidelines and selection criteria.
