• Review best practices in establishing rapport, active listening and building trust
• Demonstrate components of Motivational Interviewing, Teach Back and using “plain” language in patient communication

Dr. Jean Creasey, faculty member at the new Cal-Northern Dental School in Elk Grove (Sacramento area), will discuss issues of classical ethics and virtues in today’s dental offices.  She is supplementing this topic with material on improving effective communications between the dental team and your patients.
