A thorough radiographic assessment is central in the management of the dental patient. Cone Beam CT imaging has revolutionized the way we visualize the maxillofacial region. During this presentation, the components of a discipline, systematic approach towards a comprehensive radiographic interpretation will be discussed. In addition, the principles of CBCT technology, methods to achieve maximally diagnostic CBCT imaging and interpretation of challenging CBCT scans will be presented to demonstrate applications of CBCT in everyday dental practice.
