Most dentists use composite resin every day in practice. However, very little advanced training exists for treating children and teens. This lecture will provide prescriptive instruction on how to confidently place esthetic, long-lasting restorations in both the anterior and posterior for primary and permanent teeth. Participants will be introduced to new concepts in engineering-based preparation design, anatomically accurate matrices, biofilm removal, and the use of headed composite.
Learning Objectives
Understand how the trifecta of enhanced magnification, biofilm removal and injection molding of heated composite can result in superior anterior and posterior composite restorations for pediatric and adolescent patients.
Although Dr. Solomon will focus on pediatric and teen patients, all the content will be applicable for any age.
