The New Hire Dental Assistant Training Schedule - 6-Week is essentially a calendar to help keep track of the training process and progress over a period of six weeks.
Each week has a list of recommended tasks to assign to your new DA.
Many tasks require a record of patient chart numbers for quality purposes. There are sections on the form to record this information for each process or task performed by the trainee.
Discussion Notes are included for each week. These notes are used to document weekly progress conversations between the DAT, the trainer and the doctor.
Finally, there is a signature space for the trainer, the doctor or office manager and the DAT to sign. This documents completion of all tasks and the weekly progress discussion by all parties.
Instructions for using the schedule are located on the first page of the New Hire Dental Assistant Training Schedule - 6-Week document.
