The house is the policy-setting body of CDA, representing all members of the association. The house meets annually to set strategic direction on matters of dental policy and practice, elect officers of the association, establish membership dues and act on recommended bylaws changes.
The 2021 House of Delegates will be a virtual meeting. In taking advantage of the virtual environment, the schedule has been modified from its original format to help facilitate the meeting, while ensuring attendees have adequate time to review, discuss and provide input on resolutions. The house schedule is as follows:
In addition to the modified schedule, a pre-house amendments process is being implemented that will allow for collaboration on resolutions prior to the house, with the goal of facilitating more efficient deliberations and consensus by the house during the meeting. The deadlines for pre-house amendments are as follows:
While amendments will still be allowed during the house, delegates are encouraged to submit amendments as early as possible. For details regarding the amendments process, please refer to the Pre-House Amendments Process and Timeline. For additional information regarding important deadlines and house allocations, please refer to the following documents.
Actions of the board of trustees, categorized as policy, will be posted below following each board meeting. Any additional resolutions will be posted upon submission.
