Press guidelines

All media representatives must provide identification before receiving a press badge (e.g., business card and published samples of editorial/news work). Please request in advance to avoid registration delays.

  • CDA limits the number of press badges issued to each media organization to two.
  • CDA considers working press to be editorial staff of bona fide newspapers, magazines, medical and health care publications, broadcast outlets or web-based media. Approval of media eligibility documentation is at the sole discretion of CDA.
  • A press badge allows media to enter the Exhibit Hall and attend lectures and workshops. Badges are non-transferable and must be worn visibly to access the Exhibit Hall or lectures.
  • Exhibitors are not CDA spokespersons and should not be identified as such in interviews, articles, captions or videos.
  • Any press registrant who sells, markets or represents a company for the purpose of obtaining advertising or subscriptions from any registrant or exhibitor immediately forfeits their press badge.
  • Press registrants must obtain advanced permission to photograph and/or video record attendees or exhibitors interviewed or otherwise identifiable in images.
  • Press registrants assume responsibility for their equipment and conduct and agree to comply with all guidelines, staff instructions and venue rules.
  • CDA reserves the right to deny or revoke press badges at any time for any reason or no reason in the sole discretion of CDA.
  • Please note: Should a classroom reach maximum capacity, seating priority will be given to registered attendees. While we will do our best to accommodate media, you may be asked to leave a full course due to fire and safety regulations.
