Preserving Smiles: Minimally Invasive Dentistry (MID) for Caries Management

This course will explore the principles and clinical applications of Minimally Invasive Dentistry (MID) for populations with diverse needs. Participants will learn how MID emphasizes tooth structure preservation and caries management through evidence-based techniques such as silver diamine fluoride (SDF), glass ionomer materials, and the Hall technique. The course will also discuss how integrating MID can enhance clinical confidence in treating pediatric patients and serve as a practice builder. Case-based discussions will highlight real-world applications of these approaches.
