Comprehensive Overview of TMD and Orofacial Pain

Description 
This 3-session live virtual course will be comprised of lectures on temporomandibular joint disorders and UCLA’s clinical protocols on examining, diagnosing and treating patients with TMD (myofascial and TMJ disorders), primary headaches, neuropathic pain (including trigeminal neuralgia) as well as protocols for the management of obstructive sleep apnea. The course will include a review of common oral, topical and injectable medications used in an orofacial pain practice. Clinical examples will be given and discussed and Q&A sessions with the course director are encouraged both during the course and between sessions.
