DESCRIPTION:Lecture content: \n\n\n\n\nBiological and mechanical considerations in clinical crown lengthening\n\n\n\nIndications and contra-indications for clinical crown lengthening\n\n\n\nSurgical principles of clinical crown lengthening\n\n\n\nHands-on practice of clinical crown lengthening \n\n\n\n\nLearning Objectives: \n\n\n\nAt the end of this workshop\, participants will: \n\n\n\n\nUnderstand the indications and contra-indications for crown lengthening\n\n\n\nUnderstand the basic surgical principles of crown lengthening surgery.\n\n\n\n\nDr. Beatriz Bezerra (DDS\, PhD) is a board-certified Periodontist and full-time Clinical Assistant Professor at the UCLA School of Dentistry. Dr. Bezerra completed her dental and postgraduate degrees in Brazil and obtained her Periodontics and Implant Dentistry certificate from the Eastman Institute for Oral Health at the University of Rochester\, NY. Dr. Bezerra is actively involved in predoctoral and post-doctoral education at the UCLA School of Dentistry\, and maintains a private practice limited to Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in Westwood.
