New products to fill exhibit hall at CDA Presents

The exhibit hall floor at CDA Presents The Art and Science of Dentistry will boast nearly 100 new dental product launches, allowing dentists to stay current on the latest trends in the industry.

Located in the Anaheim Convention Center, the exhibit hall floor is 135,000 square feet and will feature approximately 575 exhibiting companies.

Listed below are a few of the new products that dentists and their teams will not want to miss as they browse the exhibit hall floor.

New Products

JP-200 Elite, JETPIK USA (Booth 484) – JP-200 Elite JETPIK is an interdental oral health care product, combining the cleaning action of floss with water and air irrigation. Interdental cleaning is essential in maintaining good oral health. The company says that when used alongside brushing, JETPIK is more than twice as effective at removing plaque biofilm from human teeth than the current leading water irrigator.

Excellerator RT, Propel Orthodontics (Booth 1640) – The company says the micro-osteoperforation performed with the Excelleration drivers stimulates the alveolar bone in orthodontic treatment in order to accelerate tooth movement and facilitate challenging movements thereby increasing predictability and reducing a patient’s overall orthodontic treatment time. Propel says it can be used in conjunction with braces or clear aligners and takes just minutes to perform during a patient’s regularly scheduled office visit.

MinerOss X, BioHorizons (Booth 1373) – Available in a variety of options, MinerOss X is an anorganic bovine bone mineral matrix that is physically and chemically comparable to the mineral structure of human bone. According to BioHorizons, the MinerOss X family of xenografts meets the needs of a variety of grafting applications, including: extraction socket grafting; ridge and sinus augmentation; grafting for implant placement; and infrabony periodontal defects.

DrQuickLook SD Plus, DrQuickLook Inc. (Booth 2437) – DrQuickLook SD Plus is an all-in-one intraoral camera that allows dentists to capture and save images to a standard SD card. Quickly display and review with patients on an easy-to-use handheld touch screen. The company said it has an extraoral camera on the back of the unit and has the ability to draw on the screen. Users can also transfer saved images to a computer or patient file. DrQuickLook Inc. says it works with all practice management software.

BioRoot RCS, Septodont (Booth 330) – BioRoot RCS is a bioactive and biocompatible root canal sealer with active biosilicate technology. This pure mineral formulation does not stain teeth and eliminates post-op sensitivity, according to Septodont. The strong seal and tight interface provides adhesive to dentin and gutta-percha points, giving a void-free seal, the company says.

After checking out the latest products, dentists can stop by The Spot educational theater on the exhibit hall floor for C.E. opportunities. At The Spot, dentists can attend the Smart Dentist Series of free one-hour lectures on topics ranging from Medicare enrollment, managing patient conflicts and more.
