CDA survey seeks member interest in developing new services

CDA continually works on behalf of its members to provide quality services and benefits — support that allows California dentists to be successful and better serve their patients.

CDA is currently surveying members to determine their interest in CDA developing and operating a dental practice management service organization (MSO). If developed, comprehensive services such as administrative, business and financial support would be available as an optional member benefit.

CDA is investigating members' interest level because the market is increasingly competitive for dentists — regardless of their stage of practice — and we believe these CDA services could help members achieve efficiencies in their practices in a more cost-effective way than businesses that specialize in this area.

Years ago, to respond to a very challenging professional liability insurance market, CDA created The Dentists Insurance Company (TDIC), which offers high quality and competitively priced insurance services enjoyed by many of our members. It is with that member benefit in mind that CDA is considering new services to help dentists in today's competitive market.

CDA sent an email to members on March 18 containing a survey link. We ask that members take a few minutes to respond so that CDA can learn more about your interest in CDA developing an MSO as an optional member benefit.
