5 social media tips for dental practices

Brad Newman, a leader in marketing and business development for dental offices, spoke to CDA Update staff during CDA Presents The Art and Science of Dentistry in San Francisco about how dentists can best market themselves online using a variety of social media sites. Newman discussed how to maintain a social media conversation that is "fresh, likeable and targeted for the right audience" and shared five social media tips for dental practices.

Newman led two lectures at the Aug. 20-22 meeting on the topic of social media and online video content and said it is important that dentists understand the power of online videos and how to add this element to a social media campaign. Newman said video is considered the heaviest form of multimedia content and is important to a practice's overall digital footprint.

Newman will be lecturing again at CDA Presents in Anaheim on May 12-14, 2016.
