Getting Started

Course offerings include:

  • Live C.E. courses
  • Online self-study, including required C.E. courses 

A login is required. If you do not have a cda.org login, you can create one free of charge. Courses are free, but a credit card is required to process your enrollment. Your credit card will not be charged. You will also need a Zoom account to access the live webinars once enrolled.

How to Access Webinars & Earn C.E. Credit

Follow the Instructions Below to Register for the Event

The following information is for live webinars only, surveys are not mandatory for other online courses. You will not need to complete a survey for recorded webinars.

  1. Sign in or set-up a new account.
  2. Once logged in, register for your preferred webinar(s).
  3. Once registered, select My Online Courses and select the webinar in which you enrolled by clicking Enter Course.
  4. Follow the steps on the screen to receive the Zoom link to launch the webinar. 
  5. To earn required C.E. credit for live webinars, you must complete a short survey after this webinar. A separate screen will pop up and automatically take you to the survey.
  6. Attendees have seven days to take the survey. If you need to complete the survey at another time, log in to cda.org, click on the My Account tab at the top of the homepage, locate My Online Courses and select the webinar for which you were enrolled. You will then be directed to CDA's survey tool.
  7. You will receive C.E. credit 7 to 14 business days after completion.

Submit questions to the presenter of a specific webinar at least one day before the course by emailing cdapresents.registration@cda.org.

Webinar attendees must enter live webinars on time, please be sure to enter 10-15 minutes early to ensure you do not miss the webinar. Late attendees will not be able to join the webinar once it begins.

How to Access Recorded Webinars & Earn C.E. Credit

  1. Sign in or set up a new account.
  2. Once logged in, register for your preferred webinar(s).
  3. Once registered, select “My Online Courses” and select the webinar in which you enrolled by clicking "Enter Course."
  4. The recorded webinar will be downloaded as an MP4 file.

How to Obtain C.E. Credit

Prepare a written summary of the course and submit it online at cda.org/cerequest. To meet C.E. eligibility requirements, the summary format must be at least two to three academic paragraphs for every one hour of course material. Each paragraph must be a minimum of six complete sentences, and bullet points will not be accepted. The format will be verified and returned if incorrect.
