Innovative products to launch at CDA Presents

Dental products and services from nearly 600 companies will fill 130,000 square feet of exhibit hall space at CDA Presents The Art and Science of Dentistry this May at the Anaheim Convention Center. And many exhibiting companies will launch new products at the meeting.

Dentists and their team members will want to explore the exhibit hall to take a first look at the latest technological innovations. Following are just a few of the new products that will be featured at the meeting:

  • Kovanaze Nasal Spray, St. Renatus, LLC (Booth 2144)
Kovanaze (tetracaine HCl and oxymetazoline HCl) Nasal Spray is the first product that allows for dental anesthesia to be administered through a nasal spray without using a needle. Kovanaze is indicated for regional anesthesia when performing a restorative procedure on teeth 4–13 and A–J in adults and children who weigh 40 kg. or more.

  • TheraCem, Bisco Dental Products (Booth 410)
TheraCem is a dual-cured, calcium and fluoride-releasing, self-adhesive resin cement indicated for luting crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays and prefabricated metal/non-metal/fiber posts. Delivering a strong bond to Zirconia and most substrates, along with easy cleanup and high radiopacity, TheraCem offers the clinician a reliable and durable cementation of indirect restorations.

  • Harmonize, Kerr Corporation (Booth 1342)
Kerr Harmonize is the next generation universal composite infused with Adaptive Response Technology, a nanoparticle filler network that help dentists achieve lifelike restorations with more ease and simplicity than ever. With better blending capabilities and enhanced structural integrity, the ART of Harmonize provides restoration with exceptional strength and unmatched esthetics.

  • X-MIND TRIUM, ACTEON North America (Booth 1352)
X-MIND TRIUM is an upgradeable panoramic, c-ephalometric, 3D device that integrates the most advanced technology in one package to ensure perfectly uniform and high-quality images on all visual axes.

  • Calaject – Computer Assisted Anesthesia, Aseptico, Inc. (Booth 1430)
The secret to delivering comfortable injections is a controlled, gentle administration of the anesthetic solution. Calaject removes the guesswork by regulating the flow rate for all injection types. Calaject does not require disposable handpiece needles and tubing sets.

  • Bite-Chek Red/Black, Microcopy (Booths 731, 1328)
Red/Black Bite-Chek Articulation Film from Microcopy has the same innovative “easy-grip” handle like the current Bite-Chek product, but practitioners can now mark for both occlusion and excursion without the need for forceps to hold the film in place. The thin profile helps ensure that patients close their bite completely.

  • Dripless Syringe, Vista Dental Products (Booth 1151)
These patent-pending syringes feature anti-drip technology, greatly reducing the risk of bleach stains and damage to skin, eyes and oral mucosa. They feature a unique color-coded plunger to quickly identify NaOCl and a color-coded ring for improved visibility in magnified fields.

  • HearRight Volume Control Ear Plugs, Splintek, Inc. (Booth 2052)
The new, revolutionary HearRight Volume Control Ear Plugs are uniquely designed with easy-to-use volume-control knobs that open and close the pneumatic chamber to regulate the level of sound protection (controlled attenuation). The ear plugs are washable, reusable and waterproof, have the highest noise reduction rating (NRR 27) and the patented ultra-soft GelFoam provides a soft, comfortable fit.

  • CamX Triton Interchangeable Head System, Air Techniques (Booth 316)
Caries detection and intraoral imaging with autofocus and high-definition image quality.  From communication to caries diagnostics to documentation and tracking progress, the CamX Triton HD system provides valuable support in dental treatments and fosters patient understanding of treatment recommendations

Breakfast event ‘matches’ dentists with exhibitors — sign up for a chance to win an Amazon gift card

With the goal of helping dentists maximize their time and visit the exhibitors who can best supply their practice, CDA Presents offers a networking event presented over breakfast in a fun new format.

CDA Presents: Exhibitor Direct Connect” gives participating dentists early access to and dedicated time with product and equipment experts. The program operates in a speed networking fashion, allowing registered attendees to be “matched” with exhibitors to learn about their products and services in scheduled 10-minute meetings. The structured meetings are designed to be both fun and effective — and stress-free.

Dentists who want to join the fun can get started by registering for the event at cdapresents.com. Afterward, they will take a few minutes to complete a profile that will help build a tailored itinerary of one-on-one conversations with smart-matched exhibitors.

The event takes place Friday, May 5, from 7:30 to 10 a.m. in Exhibit Hall D.

Bonus: Dentists can receive a $25 Amazon gift card for being one of the first 25 to register for the event (click here for contest rules).
