On July 1, 2022, minimum wage increases take effect in several California localities and may require updated postings. New to this list is Foster City! Foster City is the most recent locality to adopt a minimum wage ordinance with a rate higher than the California state minimum wage. Beginning July 1, employers must pay $15.75 per hour wage to any eligible employees. On January 1, 2023, the Foster City minimum wage will increase again to $16.50 per hour.
