Delta Premier Providers who are class members of the Delta Dental class action lawsuit have until June 14, 2019, to cash their settlement checks. The $65 million settlement is the result of legal action CDA filed against Delta on behalf of members.
Most settlement checks sent to approximately 14,000 class members have been cashed, but the class action settlement administrator reports that more than 500 settlement checks have yet to be cashed. The court ordered that all outstanding checks must be cashed by Friday, June 14, 2019. The settlement administrator will mail postcards to class members who have uncashed checks informing them of this deadline.
If you were notified that you are eligible for a settlement allocation but either lost the settlement check that was mailed to you or believe you did not receive it, contact the settlement administrator immediately at:

A number of class members and group practices have unresolved disputes on how the settlement allocation should be paid. These class members and their practice groups will also receive a postcard advising them that if the dispute cannot be resolved ahead of the June 14, 2019, deadline, they must designate someone to hold the money until the dispute is resolved so that a check can be issued to that person and cashed no later than June 14.
The court set a final compliance hearing for Aug. 23, 2019, in San Francisco County Superior Court to consider ending the litigation and declaring the settlement complete. At that hearing, the court may order that any uncashed checks and unclaimed funds be placed into the cy pres fund that, as part of the settlement agreement, will go toward the CDA Foundation Student Loan Repayment Grant.
