In response to COVID-19, local governments across California have enacted various measures to expand paid sick leave to workers in their jurisdictions. Employers are obligated to be in compliance with local ordinances that govern minimum wage and sick leave in their cities and counties. Check with your local city or county to make sure you’re up-to-date with wage and notice requirements.
