Thank you to everyone who was able to join us in person in Anaheim for CDA’s spring convention. Attendees’ health and safety are our priority, and we appreciate all the cooperation and compliance we received with on-site protocols. As you know, the requirement for entry was proof of vaccination or a negative PCR or antigen test taken within 24 hours. This applied to all attendees, exhibitors and staff. Additionally, mask-wearing was encouraged while in the Anaheim Convention Center. CDA also implemented other health and safety protocols, such as increased cleaning of high-touch areas.

Today, May 17, CDA was advised that two separate individuals who attended the convention each received positive COVID-19 test results post-event. These individuals affirmed that they had complied with the vaccination requirements.

Because of the CDA safeguards in place and per current CDC guidance, quarantine is not required for individuals who may have been exposed if they are fully vaccinated and are not experiencing any symptoms. If you may have been exposed and are not fully vaccinated, please visit the CDC’s website for information about COVID-19 symptoms and health guidance or consult your care provider. If you have any questions or concerns, email CDA.
