C.E. waiver extension gives California dental professionals until January 2022 to complete license renewal requirements

The Department of Consumer Affairs on July 26 issued a waiver that gives all California-licensed dental professionals whose active licenses expire between March 31, 2020, and Sept. 30, 2021, until Jan. 26, 2022, to meet license renewal requirements. 

License exam waiver grants RDAs, RDAEFs additional time to complete examination requirements

Registered dental assistants and dental assistants in extended functions who are applying for licensure in California have additional time to complete their examination requirements. The DCA approved a waiver for RDAs and RDAEFs whose clinical exams have been delayed due to the pandemic. 

CDA set to launch new online learning program; access all virtual events and continuing education courses in one place

CDA is bringing an enhanced learning experience to dentists and dental teams through a new education program launching this month. Through the online program, registrants will be able to log in to their CDA membership account and access interactive courses and virtual events all in one place, including all CDA and TDIC Risk Management courses.
