Hello, I’m Dr. Judee Tippett-Whyte, president of the California Dental Association and welcome to this week’s Leadership Corner.
The time to renew your CDA membership is winding down and I want to make sure you have every opportunity to keep the member-only benefits that you rely on every day.
Having you as an active member of the CDA community exemplifies what it means to have strength in numbers. Together, we’re able to call for change and act on the issues that deeply affect the dental profession.

From paving a pathway to licensure for California dental students, locking in two state-supply PPE distributions and fighting for dental teams to be prioritized for the COVID-19 vaccine — everything we do is to protect and support the future of dentistry.
And we’re continuously developing new ways to offer you more educational opportunities, such as our new monthly virtual events and the CDA Presents virtual convention, which is bringing more than 60 continuing education courses right to you.
If you have not already watched the CDA Membership video, I encourage you to do so today. It is fabulous and highlights many of the benefits of your CDA membership! Find the video at cda.org/renew.
