How do you relax after a long day at school?

Ideally, I would love to lay by the pool and just relax. But if the weather isn’t great, a lounge session on the couch while watching TV over a glass of wine will also suffice!

What’s your favorite guilty-pleasure movie or TV series?

I would have to say “Grey’s Anatomy.” I’m way too emotionally attached to my doctor friends. It’s a problem.

What has been the most surprising thing about dental school?

How fast time flies! It feels like we just had our white coat ceremony yesterday, but in just a few weeks we’ll be up in clinic full time!

What’s one thing about dental school you wish you could make your friends who aren’t in dental school understand?

This isn’t for dental school specifically, but I wish I could make them understand how satisfying it is to watch videos of calculus being scaled off.

If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?

I would love to bake more. So much so that I’d probably need to find an organization to donate all my baked goods to. Baking has always been something I’ve really enjoyed, but I haven’t been able to bake as much as before because of school.

Why are you #cdaproud?

CDA is such an amazing community that brings together professionals with the same passion for dentistry. I love how CDA is able to bring a bunch of strangers together to work and get to know one another through their events. It’s such a great way to meet other professionals with like-minded goals. I’ve already met so many great individuals through CDA and I can’t wait to make more lifelong friends!
