Quick Summary:

Renewal is now open for CDA membership in 2021, when being a part of organized dentistry will be more important than ever. Members can choose automatic monthly payments as a convenient renewal option to ensure access to new and existing programs and services that are exclusive to CDA membership.

Renewal is now open for the 2021 membership year and CDA is ready to help dentists meet the challenges ahead and remain competitive through expert guidance, one-on-one support and advocacy on behalf of the profession and every stage of dental practice.

Although the coronavirus pandemic has changed how dentists deliver care and operate day to day, CDA adapted swiftly in 2020 to prioritize what members needed and asked for most often, such as creating a suite of Back-to-Practice resources and clinical care guidance; securing two distributions of state-supplied PPE for dentists; and hosting webinars, Virtual Membership Meetings and Facebook Live events that covered the topics members needed guidance on the most.

Member input drives everything CDA does

Now, with the pandemic poised to extend into 2021, being a part of organized dentistry is more important than ever. Every day in partnership with local dental societies, CDA is listening to member dentists, and that collective voice helps drive the service, program and resources CDA looks to provide in 2021.

Members can also expect more timely resources and expert guidance from CDA’s volunteer dentist-led COVID-19 workgroups on clinical care and economic recovery and ongoing advocacy for C.E. and license renewal extensions for dentists and dental students.

One of the newest offerings members will benefit from in 2021? The CDA Career Center. CDA heard from dentists that they are having trouble filling dental staff positions in the current environment and designed the enhanced platform to help practice owners and job seekers connect through job alerts and high-quality job-matching technology. To bolster the application pool, CDA in October launched The Smile Crew CA, an initiative to bring awareness to the public about the dental profession and dental job opportunities.
