The Cal/OSHA Standards Board on June 9 voted to withdraw the revisions to its COVID-19 prevention emergency temporary standards that the board approved June 3 and sent to the Office of Administrative Law for approval.
Revisions to the Cal/OSHA COVID-19 Prevention Emergency Temporary Standards are expected to take effect as early as June 15 with two new major requirements for California employers, including the requirement to make respirators available to unvaccinated employees for voluntary use.

Cal/OSHA has not yet updated its COVID-19 prevention guidance for dental offices. Protocols for masks and social distancing are still required.
