Through the generosity of countless volunteers and donors, the CDA Foundation has helped so many Californians in need through its flagship program CDA Cares. In addition, the CDA Foundation has provided Dental Materials and Supplies Grants to community-based organizations to help provide access to care for California’s most vulnerable citizens.

About five million Californians have no dental insurance (private or public). The California Dental Association and CDA Foundation host CDA Cares, a program that allows volunteer dentists, with the assistance of other dental professionals and community volunteers, to provide dental services at no charge.
