In light of the increasing concerns and latest public health guidance related to COVID-19, and with the approval by our dentist-led Board, the California Dental Association has made the difficult decision to cancel CDA Presents The Art and Science of Dentistry this May.
The health and safety of our greater dental community is always CDA’s highest priority, and we did not make this decision lightly. It was informed by recent guidance issued by the World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to cancel all gatherings of 50 people or more for the next eight weeks, as well as Governor Newsom’s recent order on mass gatherings in California.
CDA created this event for you, our community. While we’re all disappointed by this news, we’re also here to support you as we navigate this change of plans.
