Where are my previously purchased courses?

All previously purchased online courses have been transferred and there is a 180-day window before they expire. If you have issues logging in to access your courses or need assistance, email [email protected].

Once I’ve purchased a course, how long do I have to earn C.E. ?

Opportunity to earn C.E. credit for the California Dental Practice Act, Infection Control and Treating Young Kids Everyday (TYKE) courses will be available for 180 days after purchase and with a passing quiz score of 80% or better.

The deadline to request C.E. credits for CDA Presents Virtual Convention 2020 is June 9, 2021. No further C.E. requests for the convention will be accepted after this date.

Opportunity to earn C.E. credit for all future CDA Presents audio courses is available for one year after the convention date with submission of a summary that meets proper requirements.

How do I register for the live courses?

To register for the course, you must login to or create an account. Enroll in the course from the link provided and you will be given a confirmation email and information on how to access the course.

Is there a capacity limit for live courses?

Each webinar is limited to 3,000 participants, so don't wait to save your spot. Enroll now for free, live courses from leading speakers on practice management and clinical care.

How do I access the live courses?

 Login to your account on Click on "My Online Courses" on the dashboard to view your active courses.

  1. Click to enter the course.
  2. Once you enter the course, the link to access the Zoom Webinar will be on the second page. 

Please make sure you save the Zoom link for fastest access to the webinar and make sure you have a profile through Zoom. Google Chrome is the best operating system to access the live courses. Please reference the Zoom FAQs for further assistance on accessing the webinar.

How do I obtain C.E. from a live course?
  1. To earn required C.E. credit for live webinars, you must complete a short survey after this webinar. A separate screen will pop up and automatically take you to the survey.
  2. Attendees have seven days to take the survey. If you need to complete the survey at another time, log in to, click on the My Account tab at the top of the homepage, locate My Online Courses and select the webinar for which you were enrolled. You will then be directed to CDA's survey tool.
  3. You will receive C.E. credit 7 to 14 business days after completion. Submit questions to the presenter of a specific webinar at least one day before the course by emailing [email protected]
How do I access a CDA Presents audio course?
  1. Once registered, log in to to see purchased courses under your account.
  2. Click the download icon. You will be able to play the audio recording as it loads.
  3. Save the file to your device. Note that larger file sizes require longer download times.
  4. As desired, transfer the file to your MP4 player, iPad or smartphone.
  5. Open and stream the audio recording at your convenience.
How do I obtain C.E. from a CDA Presents audio course?

Prepare a written summary of the course and submit it online at To meet C.E. eligibility requirements, the summary format must be at least two to three academic paragraphs for every one hour of course material. Each paragraph must be a minimum of six complete sentences, and bullet points will not be accepted. The format will be verified and returned if incorrect.

Do I need to submit my C.E. to the Dental Board of California?

You do not need to submit your C.E. transcripts with your license renewal unless requested to do so by the Board or as part of an audit process.

What is the passing score for courses with quizzes, and how many attempts do I have to pass?

You must pass an exam with 80% or better, and you have two attempts for each course.

How do I obtain my C.E. transcripts?

Unless otherwise notified, your C.E. transcripts will be available 7 to 14 days after each course completion. Visit, log in to My Account and select Show C.E./Transcripts. If you need assistance, call CDA at 800.232.7645 during business hours, Monday–Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST.

How long does CDA keep my C.E. transcripts?

CDA keeps all past transcript information. You may access your C.E. any time by logging in to Once logged in to My Account, select the timeframe for which you would like to see C.E. transcripts.


A online learning programs and CDA Presents audio recordings are licensed solely for the purchaser’s own personal, noncommercial use to receive C.E. units for license renewal in the allotted timeframe or for the use of the individual’s reference to course materials. Any other use of the recordings or programs, including public or enrolled broadcasting, is strictly prohibited without the express written permission of CDA.
