CDA warns of fraudulent membership notice

CDA and ADA are notifying members about a fraudulent dues invoice that claims to be from the American Dental Association. The ADA has confirmed that this invoice is fraudulent. The ADA, CDA and component dental societies urge members not to send money to the address listed on the false document which has been sent via facsimile to dentists across the country. Additionally, the ADA is attempting to determine how facsimile numbers of members were acquired.

CDA is reporting this matter to the State Attorney General’s office and urges member dentists to disregard the invoice. A sample CDA dues invoice is available for comparison here. All tripartite dues should be sent to CDA for processing and disbursement to the ADA and component dental societies.
