Student to Active Membership Program


As a student member of CDA, you’ve seen some of what organized dentistry can do for you. While you’re busy preparing for your career, CDA has made managing your membership even easier. You can apply now to transition your CDA membership from student to active status before you graduate – which means no paperwork later and a smooth transition once you’ve become licensed. Best of all, your membership dues are free until the end of next year and are reduced for the next four years!

  1. Complete the online application
  2. After graduation and licensure, you will become a member of CDA, ADA and the dental society closest to your school.
  3. When you establish your permanent address, contacts your dental society o either update your profile or have CDA transfer you to the dental society nearest you.
