Licensure Information

How to apply for licensure in California

In California there are three pathways to licensure: clinical examination, licensure by credential, and successful completion of at least one year of a Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA)-approved general practice residency or advanced education program in general dentistry (referred to as PGY-1). Click here to learn more.
