The house is the governing body of the CDA representing all of the members of the association, which convenes annually to consider the welfare of the association, its members and the dental profession as a whole. The house consists of 200 to 210 delegates from the 32 component dental societies in California and one delegate from each accredited dental school in California who are student members of the CDA.
2014 House of Delegates
This year’s House of Delegates (house) was held on November 14-16 at the Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter. The event was attended by 209 delegates representing component societies, component executive directors, CDA officers, CDA board/council/committee chairs, past presidents, dental school deans and representatives from other dental associations. Walter G. Weber, DDS was installed as CDA’s new president and, after six years of service, Alan L. Felsenfeld, DDS, said farewell as his term as speaker concluded.
