FDA launches new anti-tobacco campaign for teens

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) launched a new public awareness campaign around the dangers of tobacco use. 2015 CDA Cares volunteer dental events scheduled

The CDA Foundation is pleased to announce it has confirmed the dates and locations of four upcoming CDA Cares volunteer dental events, including Fresno in 2015. At each event, volunteer dentists — with the assistance of other dental professionals and community volunteers — will provide cleanings, fillings, extractions, oral health education and assistance in finding a dental home. Dental benefits receives more than 3,000 calls per year, and of those calls, approximately half of them are related to a dental plan not doing what the dentist (and their staff) expected. Give Kids a Smile events planned in February

The ADA's Give Kids a Smile campaign is a way for dentists to join with others in the community to provide dental services to underserved children. Dentists and other team members volunteer their time, and services, to provide screenings, treatments and education to children throughout the United States.
