The CDA Dental Benefits Task Force, which was approved at the 2011 CDA House of Delegates to develop a deeper understanding of the underlying pressures and trends in dental care financing, conducted several information gathering meetings this year. A summary of the task force’s work was presented to the 2012 House of Delegates on Nov. 10.
Two seminars remain in the lineup for the Fall 2012 Risk Management Seminar: The High Cost of Shortcuts. TDIC is offering the seminar to help dentists avoid lawsuits related to incomplete documentation or failing to fully inform patients.
The dates for CDA Presents San Francisco and Anaheim have been moved up a month from previous meetings. Instead of May, the next CDA Presents will be in Anaheim April 11–13, 2013 (for members planning to attend, please note that registration will open in November at cdapresents.com). Instead of September, the next CDA Presents San Francisco will be held on August 15-17, 2013.
